Discover your spirituality: How to pray better for the world
International speaker and world traveler Tom McElroy will share his insights about growing spiritually at 2 p.m. Sunday Oct. 18 in the church sanctuary. His talk is titled "Spiritual Discovery: How You Can Better the World."
McElroy, a Christian Science practitioner and member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship, has been to every continent but Antarctica and spoken about his travels at many events for public service groups, universities, public schools, churches, and for organizations including those who serve the homeless and at-risk youth.
"During these travels, I experienced many proofs of God’s ever-present care for His global family," McElroy says. "I’ve always loved meeting new people and learning fresh and inspiring ideas. Through my study of Christian Science, I’ve found that a better understanding of God helps me connect with all kinds of people and to appreciate and enjoy the many diverse expressions of divine Life and Love which fill the globe."
You can learn more about Tom McElroy in this video interview from last year in Ocala, Florida.
